Alexa is wildly passionate about preventative health, mindful movement and discovering daily tools that help us feel better and live better. From kinesiology, nutrition and mental health to yoga and meditation, Alexa has sought out a variety of education in the health and wellness field to better understand the unique needs of each individual. With a desire to broaden her scope of practice and offer the best possible care, she is currently pursuing a career as a Naturopathic Doctor at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Alexa has completed yoga trainings in vinyasa, hatha, prenatal, yoga for mood management and a variety of meditation styles, including yoga nidra. Pulling from a diverse background, her classes are dynamic, accessible, balanced and integrative. Sharing this practice is one of her greatest joys, and believes yoga is wonderfully medicinal for the body, mind and soul.
