We are open! We would like to share with each of our students the NEW way we will be doing business. The health and safety of our students, teachers and staff is very important to us, and new measures are required.

We are limiting the size of public classes to 12 students only per class. No drop-in’s will be accepted at this time. Everyone must reserve their spot in advance via the Wellness Living ACHIEVE app or through the Jaya Yoga website.

If 0-1 student signs up for a class we will unfortunately need to cancel it and release the instructor. Classes with 2 or more students will run. Everyone can see the class sizes either on the Wellness Living ACHIEVE app or through our website. We thank you for your patience around this while we re-build.

NEW WAIT LIST: If someone cancels their reservation and you are next on our wait list, you will be added to the class automatically and you will receive a notification. Once added, you are reserved for that spot in the room.

There will be markers on the floor where to place your yoga mat.

A mask must be worn while entering the studio and exiting. However, once you are on your yoga mat in the room, you may take it off for the yoga practice. Masks are only required with our new by-law in public spaces where social distancing is not possible. Because we have designated 6 feet placements between mats, each student will have enough space between them. We need to breath oxygen to remain healthy, and yoga is about the breath.

We will no longer be offering props to the public. Please bring your own to class if you need one. The only exception to this is for our Sunday Restorative Yoga class.

Please wash your hands in the washroom before entering the studio. Soap and water is much better then anti-bacterial products, as we need our natural good bacteria to ward off bad bacteria. However, anti-bacterial gel will still be provided in the studio.

Do not come to class sick. It’s okay to sneeze and cough when you have allergies. We get it. We sneeze and cough too and we are healthy. It is a part of being human. However, if you are under the weather, please stay home and rest up, and join us when you are feeling better.

We will not offer hands-on adjustments for the time being. Instructors will give verbal cues for adjustments.

“Yoga by Design” – we are now offering private classes with our Instructors to accommodate your personal needs. Would you like a private one-on-one class and have the studio all to yourself? Do you want to gather a few friends and have your own private session with one of our Instructors? This is our new personalized “concierge” offering, where we will design a class just for you, or for your group. The more people in your group, the better the price!

Please come dressed for class when possible. Reserve your spot online, enter the studio and place any belongings in the change room or cubicles. Put your mat down in a designated spot in our yoga room and lay down until the class begins.

We will continue to rent mats, as we have control over cleaning them. However, yoga mat storage is no longer possible at this time.

There will be a reduced class schedule to start, and we will add classes once these times slots fill up. We will grow as our classes grow. Please check the Wellness Living ACHIEVE app for our modified class schedule.

Our air-exchange in the studio is runs excellently, and we will also be keeping the 2 French yoga-room doors open during class. Our studio has been professionally cleaned.

Bring your own water bottle or purchase a bottle for $3 in reception. Tea and filtered water have been removed for now.

Bring your own props (bolster, block, strap, blanket). If you require them for class, we sell a variety of props in our reception area. No props will be available to the public at this time, except for the Restorative class. We will eventually re-visit this policy, and thank you for your understanding.

After class, please exit the room and save social conversations for the reception area.

Starting Sept. 1st – online yoga classes will be available for everyone through their class card. You will be able to sign up for it similar to an in-person class. The option to sign up for in-person AND online classes will be available through the app or our website.

Street parking is available throughout the neighborhood. Some parking is free and some require purchasing a ticket.

All our Instructors are certified by Yoga Alliance (USA) and most have received their Yoga Teacher training certification at Jaya Yoga. We aim to provide students with access to the variety of techniques available in the yogic repertoires, such as asana (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), mantra (yogic sound syllables), dharana (visualization), dhyana (meditation), and sutras (yogic aphorisms to reflect on and help you to bring yoga into your daily life off the mat). A variety of these techniques may be used in any given class, and specific techniques may be elaborated on in workshops or special-focus classes, such as our meditation classes.

Our offer different levels of physical intensity, as well as different levels of experience and modifications by the Instructors.

Please note:  These offers are not valid on the 1 week or 1 month Introductory passes.  This can only be used for our regular class cards.
