(FREE) Meditation for Stress Relief

March 19, 2020

FREE Meditation Series for Stress Release
online only!

We are experiencing an interesting historical time together on our planet and as a global human community. We are bombarded daily by news reports, pop-ups on our phones and continuous emails sending us updates minute by minute.
As yogis, we already know that we are (and always have been) in the same boat,
but this global health situation has made that reality more real for many.
It can leave us feeling overwelmed.
It can leave us feeling that we have lost our balance.
It can leave us feeling anxious and stressed out.

When we are stressed, it affects our immune system, we can experience broken sleep patterns or insomnia – and then
we are not feeling the well-being that is always flowing to us.
We are disconnected.

`Change your mind from discontent to contentment
and see the miracle.`

A regular meditation practice can help because it sets aside sacred time to connect with the never ending peace and ease that is always available to us when we turn our attention inwards. There definitely are enough worldly distractions these days that can leave us feeling anxious, distracted and disconnected. When we consciously decide to turn out attention away from what is outside of us to what is going inside of us, it has incredible calming benefits.

`For your original face, you have to go inwards.

Have you ever noticed that the thoughts you are thinking as you fall asleep, are the thoughts you wake up to? Sleep gives us an intermittent break from thinking, but our mind takes us right back there as soon as we waken. When we meditate, we give our busy mind the much needed break it deserves, from the repetitive thinking we do our whole lifetime.

`Consciousness is immortal`

When we create mindful space through a meditative practice, we quieten the internal noise. When the internal noise is quiet, we are able to connect to that quiet sacred space within each of us; unique to each of us. We process our world differently, we process change differently, we process personal triggers differently and we begin to understand the bigger picture of life. As the challenges of life get flung at us – we are able to handle them in a more calm “I got this!” way.

Become an observer of your mind.
Learn to liberate yourself from repetative thinking.
Experience how a calm mind can reduce stress.
